[WTB VIC] ~-3 Degree Sleeping Bag

Postby damoprz » Wed 08 Jun, 2016 5:23 pm

Hey,
I'm looking to pick up a sleeping bag for my partner so we can do some hikes this winter. She will need a Regular size and sleeps cold so I am looking for something down to around -3 C comfort. It won't be a regularly used bag so I am hoping to keep it under $200.

Just seeing if anyone has anything they would like to sell before I buy something cheap, fat and heavy like a Vango Latitude 400 (and cut 20cm off it). I would need it before the weekend of June 25th.

Cheers,
Damien

Thanks, that is a much better option. Do you know how conservative one planet are with their temperature ratings?

Where are you headed on the 25th?
If you wanted to make it really cheap I can lend you a down jacket and a very warm down half bag but the LW synthetic to go over the top of that combo is up at Falls Creek at the moment and not coming home for a while

I'm not sure where we will head yet. I will probably make a decision the week before based on the weather and how far I can be bothered driving. My current cheap option is putting my 10 degree synthetic bag inside my S2S Talus I (1 degree comfort), which should be ok.

I am happy to spend a little extra to make life a bit easier (lighter, mostly), if I can pick something suitable up 2nd hand.
