If you are on Facebook one was just listed in the gear freak group for $200 with some bits and pieces. I do not know the seller, just passing on the info.

Wow, that seems pricey for a used stove as I bought an MSR Whisperlite Universal from Snowy Outdoors in 2019 for under $200. But, maybe prices have gone up.

I was under the impression that the universal wasn't approved for sale in Aus because of our strict laws around gas stoves.
The standard version looks to me about $300 all in. I think I'm going to sell mine haha.

Thanks everyone -
A stove is apparently in the mail to me.

No, I bought an international at the end of 2019 for $170 so that is some inflation to get to $300.

Yeah no kidding, currently their rrp is $265 without a fuel bottle but it's on sale at wild earth for $217 so maybe they're always on sale. MSR are really taking the *&^%$#! with these ones.

Wild earth stuff is always on sale. The Universal is a smaller production stove, and a lot of costs have gone up in the past couple years, so it's hard to say what is a "good" price. But all things in, MSR is one of the few companies that steadily keep improving while maintaining user serviceability where possible, a lot of companies in other industries resist that.
