Hi All,

Mont recently cleared there stock of the Glacier Jacket, which is a fleece made from Polartec Thermal Pro, as they have decided the fabric is a second due to excessive pilling in some cases over time. More about the second below.
I purchased a large and a medium as I was not sure of my size, but have decided the Large is best.

The original RRP was $190, but the clearance second price was $39. The jacket has been tried on, but is brand new, with all tags. Hopefully someone else is interested and happy to pay what I paid $39 plus postage?

Made from winter-weight Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, the Men's Glacier Jacket is the warmest in the Mont fleece range.

Polartec Thermal Pro is a modern fleece that provides superior insulation with less weight and bulk than traditional fleece. A high-loft pebble shearling lining has excellent heat retention, and the sweater-knit face fabric is smooth, durable and stylish.

These jackets are marked as seconds because some, but not all, customers found higher than expected pilling. The fabric was passed by Polartec USA but failed by Mont quality control. The garments on sale now are new & unused. These jackets are not covered by Mont warranty. Seconds clothing & equipment are not eligible for returns or refunds.

While the fabric has been failed by Mont quality control, these jackets are still very warm, very comfortable and meet the same high quality standards in design, manufacture and thermal performance.
