Only 30L for the main pack? I recorded mine to be at 34L and don't remember there's L vs S sizes. It has been enough volume for my overnight walks when paired with a pair of balance pockets. Great set up.

You're correct - there is no small, but SHORT. There is a embroidered 'S' on the pack.

Nevertheless there are conflicting numbers regarding the main pack. The backpacking light website says 30L.

Yes, I also remembered there's some variation in the volume spec when I bought mine. Irrespective, minor issue and doesn't detract from the functionality of this setup. As said, great as an overnight pack setup.
