DCF packing cells

Made from 1 Oz DCF (Zpacks tent floor material). Featuring #3 YKK Uretek water resistant zips with two sliders, taped end seams for water resistance and strength, a hang loop at one end and stitched with Mara 70 polyester thread.

Dimensions when full approximately (L)34cm X (H)14cm X (W) 18cm. 9.5 L capacity and weight of 22 grams.

Wellity well well. Since you started making this stuff I've been thinking about requesting something suitable for the tent, to keep it separate from everything else when it's wet, and these are almost the exact dimensions I came up with. Tent will fit in one nicely. How much?

Could be ok for tent storage. They are lightweight#3 zips though so I wouldn't apply too much pressure to them. I use a skinny dry bag for tent storage as per my previous post in this section, you can be quite tough with those.

Would you be interested in making Hyperlite Mountain Gear pod style packing cells? I have a few and I love them. I could do with a few more but once shipping is added they are a little expensive.

I'm not sure. I haven't tried to make one TBH. I'll have a go at making one at some stage and get back to you. Those HMG ones are nice. Expensive normally but now even more so with the dollar as it is. They use #5 zips I think?

They drop in my pack so easily with no wasted space. Anyone with an HMG pack would love them.
Planning a Tassie trip to either WoJ, Frenchman’s, South Coast etc in March. If you’re interested, after the trip I’ll lend you one so you can make a pattern and check out construction.
