Used the sides of alloy cans rivited together,then used a reamer tool to drill the holes , mayby a hole punch might work .The first one i made got a small split at the holes so i made another , with the holes a bit further up . When folding it up to go in my pot i have the bends in between the holes . Just thought i would add not folding with a crease bending it together so to fit in .Lasted 20 cook times going strong , when it get another little split ill have fun making another.5 GRAMS...

This is my diy stove,windscreen,alloy can heat reflector . With a zelphs cook pot . All fits inside ( 40 grams) I only use it to heat water for coffee and to rehydrate a meal. It's my goto stove at the moment

I own the same pot from zelph, I did not receive a lid for my pot.
Zelph make some nice gear, I own a couple of there pots.

So far I have not tried the pot. You have me intrigued to try it now.

Is that one of those coghlan fuel tablets your using?

Had a look to see what I have and what do you know, there's a lid that fits the pot.
This will be a perfect setup for Esbit Tablets, I made a titanium stove not so long ago that weighs 3 grams, which will go well with this set. To think I tried to sell this kit not long ago here on the forum and had no takers, I've since decided to keep it.

You have a much better lid that the one I was supplied with by Zelph. I'm very disappointed in the lid supplied with my kit.
I've tried the larger pot shown in the image also purchased from Zelph and found the lid ridiculous. It would get stuck to the pot and difficult to remove from the pot.

Thanks Phil . I have one of those fosters flat bottom pots as well ,my lid fits great on both pots. I use kookaburra fuel tablet from BCF , I've wanted to try esbit etc to compare..

I heard the kookaburra fuel tablets burn dirty and leaves a mess on your pots. Is this true?

Esbit tablets are great, but hard to come by in Australia.
I purchased about 6 packages on sale about a year ago of the esbit tablets, I save them for long distance walks of a week or more.

I would use Esbit tablets all the time if I have a chose. Much prefer the tablets over Metho. Its cleaner, no fuel containers needed and lighter in weight.

If you go to a model steam engines search you will find a good source of Esbit Tablets much cheaper than local I believe,still no good for Fuel Stove only areas as they have an open flame.

Don't those model steam engines only use the smaller 6 gram tablets?

Yeh they do leave grime on the bottom of the pot . Esbit sounds the go thanks corvus there,s a hobby 1 shop near me I'll check it out..

My son buys his Esbit in a box of four pkts for under $40.00 landed and you can also get the large ones on ebay cheaply if you look.
