My usual dillemma

Save a kilo or two or take the winter parka and one extra can of gas
I'm at 18.6 kilos but no water added yet but 6 kilos of that is food and two canisters of gas.
Changing the Rainbird jacket for the Goretex parka and I'm adding a half a kilo.
Taking a Minaret rather than the MegaLite and floor would add a half kilo.
Loosing the Halo down jacket won't save any weight because then I'd have to take the warmer sleeping bag and the next few nights might be a bit on the cooler side.
My winter weight for the same length of time is a bout 30 kilos and a third of my fit weight.
I know I'll be walking slow so that's 7 nites food plus an extra lunch and a small safety margin in extra coffee
Any comments as I won't be leaving until 10AM tomorrow and I have time to repack

Have a great trip MD, what’s your route?
The 18+ kg will make it a slog but if your daily target is easily managed and you’re able to take a leisurely pace then that’s ok. Just don’t cause the body too much stress. Hopefully plenty of water along to way? Adding another 3-5kg isn’t really what you need. Take it slow and easy and have an exit strategy if needed. Weather forecast for week ahead across Vic doesn’t look to have any real challenges. Have a great journey and looking forward to the report once done.

PV to Hotham Heights along the snow pole line then the Razorback to Feathertop and then I make a decision about getting back to Falls, maybe a reverse or cutting across via Blairs and Westons. One or two nites at PV getting used to the altitude as usual
