Made the mistake of exiting Devonport on Christmas Day with the thought of buying breakfast on the way to the WAs.

I read about a person who said that the toothpaste tasted funny, and then realised that he was using hemorrhoid cream.

That would indeed taste funny. Always take the time to read the label seems to be a key theme.

Always check and trim toenails before a walk, particularly if much descending is planned.

I’ve just learnt that the “scientific names” assigned to members upon joining this Forum are in fact very interesting. Here are a couple of a examples, MS Mudd’s is a Celery Top Pine from The highlands of Tas, a Lophophaps is a particularly attractive Spinfex Pigeon from Central Northern Aus and mine is a Southern Sassafras. Got me to wondering if any of us have ever actually spied our nom de plumes in the wild. Yours may be of interest to us all ?

Best case scenario for me is that those blackened ones fall off Stry, I always celebrate the loss of a toenail as it means unimpeded running and walking for at least a few months. I got one on the brink right now, my kids and husband have requested I stop sharing its progress to separation from its nail bed.
You are right though, less fuss and less gruesome to just remember to cut them in the first place.

You need to do it before you graduate to Athrotaxis selaginoides which I think happens at one thousand forum posts.

Tassie is like all the best parts of NSW and then some squashed into this small area. Instead of walking for a day, you step off the bus and its all there in front of you.

Me, I even have a few potted specimens here: Phyllocladus, Athrotaxis, Lagarastrobus, Atherospermum ... better in the wild, but.
