Camping platforms

Apart from large rocks and cords, are there any other effective methods are there for attaching a tent to a wooden platform?

I haven't thought of any - just wondering if anyone on here uses/has used other methods.

Some of the ones on the Arthurs have nails inside each of the boards which was a GREAT idea as you could "peg" it out anywhere you wanted!!
Cords do work well providing you have enough, I used this technique......

Heres a couple of other options:

Neither is very 'packing freindly' but both are very effective

The OT platforms look to be quite a bit thicker. Havent been into the arthurs since the platforms were built but they look like just pine decking. A few cup hooks would be handy but they need to be carried in a hard container or something. Your way gets the support close to the tent, any method to do this is a lot better than just attaching to the platform perimeter.
