Hello all,

I am looking for a day walk in the Royal around 10-15ks, preferably a circuit - but that's not a necessity.

I would love to hear your ideas.

My favourite "default" circuit walk when I'm short of time - Start at Heathcote Railway Station > Karloo Pool > Uloola Falls > Audley (can call in or bypass it) > Engadine Track > Bottle Forest Trail > Start. From memory it's 14 or 15km.

Others I do often utilise parts of the Coast Track (which may be better if it's hot) and most are at least partial circuits. Curra Moors circuit is nice and about 8 or 10km of easy walking that takes you via Eagle Rock (very short side trip).

Another custom favourite is Otford Gap > Governor Game Lookout via Garrawarra Ridge > Down Thelma Ridge (trackless but easy) to meet the Coast Track > Burning Palms > Palm Jungle > climb back up to the start.

That might give some ideas but there are others depending on where you prefer to start/finish.

Yep, that loop suggested by John is a good one.

Cajun,

There are lots of options for 10-15km walks in the RNP. Off the top of my head.

Can be done via public transport:
Bundeena - Jibbon Beach - Jibbon Head* - Coastal Track - The Cobblers - Bundeena. Approx 10km. Engravings at: -34.077219,151.167264. Morning tea at Pebbly Beach. Back to Bundeena by lunch time for fish and chips in the park.
Otford - Coastal Track - Burning Palms - Burgh Ridge - Garrawarra - Otford. Approx 10-15km. Parking: -34.211201,151.010784.
Waterfall - Uloola Track - Couranga Track - Forest Path Loop - Couranga Track - Uloola Track - Waterfall. Less than 15km. Possible side trips to Paloma Cave or Bolla Creek (Walumurra Track). Lots of leeches. Variety of environs on this walk. One of my favourites walks in the RNP.

Car required:
Bundeena - Jibbon Beach - Jibbon Head* - Coastal Track - Marley Beach - Marley Track - Bundeena Drive. Approx 15km. Engravings at: -34.077219,151.167264. Marley Track car park: -34.102983,151.115538 (short car shuffle required).
Garie Beach - Coastal Track - Marley Beach - Marley Track. Around the 15km mark, maybe a little bit more. Car shuffle. Marley Track car park: -34.102983,151.115538.
Any combination of sections of the Coastal Track, it's all good.

* The track that goes around Port Hacking Point not the "Jibbon Loop Track".

Hopefully this gives you some ideas.

Cheers,
Michael.
