It's pretty neat, I found it a while ago, maybe on another thread here.

If you click on the 'Earth' text you can choose your layers and add temperature gradients.

If you click on the map you get winds speed and direction as well as temperature for that point. Auckland is warmer than Adelaide at the moment!
