Put a snake in your sock

Postby Onestepmore » Sun 01 Dec, 2013 8:39 am

I was going through and reading (and deleting most) of my day's emails over a cup of tea this morning
Found this one from Backpacker magazine

http://www.backpacker.com/october-2012- ... wsletter03

I had a chuckle over suggestion six 'Carry a snake. If you catch one, tie it off inside a sock to keep it alive until you need to eat it.'
I can just imagine carrying an angry eastern brown or redbelly along until morning smoko time
We can learn a lot from crayons. They come in different shapes and colours, but they all have to live in the same box

Either this fellow hasn't seen Aussie snakes, or he has Guinness Book type feet !

Or he's talking about a different type of snake altogether!

Personally, I'd prefer jelly snakes, and not stored in my socks, clean or just worn!
Carpe diem!
