Canyoning in the rain, isn't that asking for trouble?

I wouldn't know, but the initial rainfall in the video looked innocuous enough.

"Usually" means they can come earlier. I also wonder if they considered that there may be an accident and they could be delayed?
I've been through Zion. A lot of rock that is going to drain very quickly.

Obvious observation is that it is pretty dumb to do such canyons in the monsoon season, though I'll give them credit for keeping their heads and staying put in a safe spot.

For the times I've been to the high deserts of Western US, I recall there's always various warning on flash floods, with warnings specifically on how little rain it takes to bring it on. My understanding has been that one really shouldn't be there when there is rain.
