Can anyone shed light on these plaques, just a few paces off the summit of Mt Selwyn on the AAWT ?

I dont know but to me it looks like father and son now have a good resting place.
I came across one dedicated to a father/husband just off the top of Mt Howit earlier this year as I was enjoying the view by myself and sheltering from the cold wind (I sort of felt as though someone was with me enjoying the view).
I would be very happy if some one would take the effort to scatter my ashes off the top of one of the Vic Alps mountains (hint hint kids!).
