As I wrote a reply to another topic, I thought about the significance of the watershed over looking Long Tarns where (along with a zillion other places on the plateau) you can straddle the Mersey and Derwent River catchments.
In my opinion, Mount Massif (haven't been there yet) is the coolest watershed in Tassie as you can find the point which straddles the Mersey, Derwent and Pieman River catchments.
Does anyone else get excited about such things? Can anyone tell of other cool catchment boundaries they've straddled?
