Just got back from a camp trip with my son (Cathedral). While there we saw a group of kids and their dads play a game with chunks of split wood. Curious to see if anyone knows what it is: they arranged lots of pieces of wood standing up within a rough circular area, there was a lot of throwing one piece to knock over others, and apparently it involved a king and queen...
Sound familiar to anyone? The kids seemed to be having a ball...

This sounds like Finska, or a bush version of it. See
http://www.finska.com.au/ It’s surprisingly fun and addictive,
cheers

Thanks Peter. That's exactly what it was but with firewood offcuts rather proper set. I'm going to have to give it a go next camp trip..
