Auburn River NP

Small national park. Still dry & hot this time year.
Rockhoppers delight. :wink:

Heavy hum of clumsy flying beatles at dusk, sporadic howling dingoes through the night.

Tadpoles swimming in cool pools, froglets hopping on land, rock scurrying rainbow skinks & submerged turtles.

Swollen bottle trees, dry knee high grasses rocks hidden within.

The usual overnight coconut yogurt & hydrated dried fruit in the cool morning light.

Wow, those Dragon Eggs look amazing. Sometimes these little NPs can be very interesting places. Thank you.

Thanks Michael_p...I barely scratched the surface.
Would be great to see in full flood but I don't think that'll happen this season.
Mountain views are good for my soul...& getting to them is good for my waistline !
