Small national park. Still dry & hot this time year.
Rockhoppers delight.
Heavy hum of clumsy flying beatles at dusk, sporadic howling dingoes through the night.
Tadpoles swimming in cool pools, froglets hopping on land, rock scurrying rainbow skinks & submerged turtles.
Swollen bottle trees, dry knee high grasses rocks hidden within.
Granite Dragon eggs...tumbled smooth.
Something has a fruity diet..
Freshwater mussels...
Exploring...
Open Ironbark woodland. Easy walking...
Giant's eyeview...looking upstream towards Auburn Falls.
The usual overnight coconut yogurt & hydrated dried fruit in the cool morning light.
Worth a overnight or two if your in the area....
