Hi everyone,
so awesome reading your stories of Lamington’s gems (although this thread is on the older side of life!). The Albert River Circuit remains one of my favourite day hikes, hiking that trail through early morning fog that cleared as we reached the lookout was just incredible.

I am trying to track down more information in preparation for a trek to Thunder and Lightning falls. I think I know the ‘turn off’ location on the Albert River Circuit to start towards the falls, but I was wondering if there is a possibility that Pteropus could possibly send me those coordinates to help confirm my route? If so that would be absolutely awesome!
Thanks everyone

As no one has posted recently in this topic, I thought I had better give it a bump and share some of my most recent trip from Tassie to Lamington NP where my wife and I spent a few nights at O'Reilly's Guest House. We had our honeymoon here 43 years ago and decided to repeat the 17 kms Toolona Creek circuit we did back then. However we were reminded by our legs that were were not as young as we were 43 years ago!

We found our names in one of the old O'Reilly's Guest House visitor's books!

Nice one Tas-man and happy anniversary! Lot's of nice waterfalls along that circuit. I saw a black dingo on the track last time I was there. No more than 5 metres looking down at me from the switchbacks.
