Presumably means increased avalanche danger during the climbing season too. And probably more climbers pushing the Sherpas to take even greater risks so they (climbers) get their money's worth.

theres widespread worries about lakes up and down the himalayas filling up and breaching, flooding occupied valley's below, every year the lakes get bigger...
