Lees Paddocks to Pillinger and Paddy Hartnett Track

Postby janlin » Mon 18 Jan, 2021 2:09 pm

Hi
I'm planning a trip to Pillinger via Lees Paddocks track, then back to Reg Wadley and a walk along Mersey River on Paddy Hartnett track. Route has been discussed with Parks, and we do not intend to access the OLT.
I'd appreciate any suggestions for a camp in vicinity of Reedy Lake and comments on recent conditions of the routes as it is some years since Ive been in this area.
Also any comment on condition of Mersey Forest Road beyond main WOJ carpark would be of assistance.
Thank you :)

There is a flat open area at the eastern end of the lake/swamp, between the track and the outlet creek, which makes for good camping. Just keep an eye out as you walk through.

Road was OK as far as the start of the Blizzard Plains Track a few months back. Can't comment on the track/route as I've not been in there for a few years.
