Hi,
I'm off to do the Larapinta next week and plan to add the side trek from Ormiston Gorge out to Mt Giles and then back to Bowmans Gap. Has anyone any recent information? Especially interested in the current water situation at Giles Spring.
Many thanks

I was out at Mt Giles in April, there was water at Giles Spring and a bit also in the third big gully. There's a few more details and photos a little bit further down the NT page in the Water at Mt Giles post.
Cheers

I was on Giles last Monday (30th July 2018), there's water in the gorge above the campsite just to the west of the south spur (what Chapman calls Giles 1) and also at the campsite near Giles Yard Spring - see
