The weather forecast for this weekend is 20/22 Degrees, so I am heading up to do the section of Heysen that goes through Caroona Creek.
Does anyone know what the condition of the dirt roads around there is? Is it possible for a 2WD to drive on White Hill Road & Dust Hole Creek road?
cheers

Dust Hole Creek (Entrance from Mt Bryan side) is a no go for 2wd. The track into caroona that way is quite rough and rocky.
2wd vehicles can enter from the south via Redbanks (Morgan road from Burra) or from the town of Mt Bryan via White Hill Rd. White Hill rd is part of the Mawson Trail, and has pretty nice views. I'm keen to ride through there some time
