I am just wondering what size pack you took for this trip?

I am wanting to do this trip soon and am collecting gear now.

We only took day packs, so you might need to pm photohiker or jdog for details on multi day packs.

I have put up a few flower photos from our walk on here:

I used an Aarn Peak Aspiration with front pockets on this trip. The Pack is 45L without pockets and I think total weight was about 12kg. What size pack you take depends on your gear, if you don't already have a suitable pack it would be best to assemble all the stuff you will be taking and then find a pack that suits.

He He
- that was lighter than my day pack on our big first day. No wonder I struggled a bit at the end of that day.

ha!

My daypack is 4kg with camera gear and wet weather gear :)

I've just bought a new daypack though (Lowe Photosport 200) which is a couple of hundred grams heavier, so I may have to lug 4.5kg around now. :(

I dip my lid to you eggs, I've given up carting heavy loads around the bush. Doesn't seem to stop you racking up the distance though.
