Hike near Cairns and Townsvill

Hi hiker colleagues,
I'm new in Australia (living currently in Sydney) and I'm looking for an overnight hike (3-4 days) around Cairns and Townsvill. We, 3 friends and myself, are spending 10 days of vacation in Queensland. Arriving in Cairns, we have a car and now we are looking for a nice 3-4 days hike.
We already did the Overland Track, are used to hike back in our country (mountains and forests but Europeans one, less risky from an animal point of view ).
I would much appreciate if somebody could help us finding a nice hike, with camping place.
