In a phrase - the most boring walk I have done in memory.
Avoid at all costs.
We did a
15.5k loop walk from Surface Point Picnic Ground at the Enfield State Park today. It was described in one of the Chapman books, not sure which one. The park is featureless. The forest is uniformly stunted and there are few points of interest on the circuit that goes through Enfield. I was hoping for a ferny gully or even the twitter of a bird. However, they have left the park in a fit of boredom and I don't blame them. It is a very dull place. Not sure how this ever made it into a bushwalking guide book as there is little to give the place merit.

I take it you didn't like it then?
The fact it's designated motocross isn't a good sign. Let them have it I guess.

I hope my review saves anyone else the travails of visiting this place.
