Has anyone checked out the south side of this track. I mean the section from Erskine Creek to the Watershed Road. That section involves a steep climb from Erskine to the plateau but last time I did that the way up was marked with paint

Done it several times. Even with push bikes (coming the other way) Not a problem.

So to get this clear the way up the cliff is indicated by paint on rocks (red paint I recall) Once on top it's a flat walk to the road I think. Is that route easy to follow?

Can anyone confirm the route is still viable. The route is up the cliff on the south side of Erskine, then following the pad south to the W5 Erskine Range trail. Then following the road east to the fire trail heading north east to the Nepean/Warragamba River junction, cross the Warragamba to the old road on the south side, then up the hill to Norton Basin Road and the way out.
Any info on this route?
