Could be, although I've been on a walk somewhere that had some markers like that ...

I've seen those road guide posts on the Gingerbread Track, but the photo doesn't look like it's been taken on that track.

Nope, not on a road

Not Gingerbread or Hartz Either.

There aren't a lot of these markers on this walk, just a few as the alpine area is reached and the track peters out.
