Pyramid? Or Manfred? Decision, decisions ... I think that rocky thing on the far right edge is Manfred's Heel, which says Pyramid.

One of 3500 nice places we get to visit?
Sat 08 Jan, 2022 7:28 pm
One of 57,937 nice places we get to visit. I think you've been to this one.
Sat 08 Jan, 2022 7:33 pm
Well that narrows it down to a few hundred.
That's ok. Gotta get an early night and get out walking tomorrow.

Sprent?
Sun 09 Jan, 2022 8:58 am
Capricorn?
Sun 09 Jan, 2022 12:30 pm
Neither, still on the wrong ranges, but icefest is closest.
Sun 09 Jan, 2022 6:09 pm
It's Abel country.
Sun 09 Jan, 2022 6:51 pm
Clear Hill?
Sun 09 Jan, 2022 7:49 pm
Getting closer. This one doesn't get as much traffic, however.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 1:03 am
Conglomerate. Thumbs?
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 5:51 am
Still too far south.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 7:07 am
Okay, I thought Abel’s and went to my Abel’s Book, Volume 2, pages 124/125 and thought that looks a lot like the same sort of country. Stepped Hills? I must get out there before I’m too old.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 8:33 am
Still not far enough north, but at least you're on the right side of the river. The peak in view is one of a distinctive pair.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 9:25 am
I suppose you could be being tricky and posting from Reeds Peak again but I’ll go for Bonds.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 11:54 am
I did actually think about a tricky one from Reeds but, yep, went for the approach to Bonds instead. Nasty summit boulder on that thing.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 12:18 pm
I’ve been out there a few times. The first was memorable - driving winds, hail and no leg protection!
This one is from my family birthday celebration late last year. Where/what is it. (Not counting the curtsying.)

Is currawong on roof.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 3:52 pm
That was meant to be currawong in my post but it seems auto spell changed it.
This is a roof, you got that right. Some days it would be seen and photographed by hundreds of people.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 9:48 pm
I would have expected to see some kind of pigeon up there.
Mon 10 Jan, 2022 11:04 pm
Homing lake?
Tue 11 Jan, 2022 8:26 am
Is there such a place as Homing Lake? If so this isn’t it.
Tue 11 Jan, 2022 9:13 am
It's probably Kitchen Hut, although I don't get the pigeon reference.
Tue 11 Jan, 2022 9:29 am
Kitchen Hut is close. Maybe a place to cook Pigeon Pie.
Here is another picture of the same building that might help.
Anyone can go now.

What was the name of this hut?
Thu 13 Jan, 2022 7:51 am
It’s on Mt Wellington because I can see the tower on the ridge. Is it on Thark Ridge?
Thu 13 Jan, 2022 11:23 am
It is on Thark Ridge, but do you know the hut's name?
Thu 13 Jan, 2022 1:19 pm
Thark Hut?
