KSA desert scenes

From last month's visit to Saudi Arabia. Nice time of the year - perfect weather. Would have liked a few clouds though.

Amazing photos. You're shooting with film right? Are you using an IR filter as well?

Yes Dave they are film shots, medium format taken with my Voigtlander Perkeo II 6x6 (vintage 1953 or thereabouts). Scanned b&w negatives - just learning to do this (too much dust...)
Filters? I used a heavy yellow filter for some and orange for the others - can't remember which. Thus the vignetting, but the filters darkened the sky a lot, so the pictures aren't too contrasty. Don't know where the stripe on the right hand side of the first two came from.
And here is a colour photo (scanned slide) from an Agfa Record III 6x9 (about the same age) of the first shot. Cheers!
