Ïd very much like to read Sarah's book "I woke the tiger: Tasmania, an initiatory ordeal in the unexplored West" Unfortunately my schoolboy French is unexercised after many decades of dormancy, and it was at best cumbersome. Is there a convenient way to read this book in English?

If you get the Google Translate App on your phone, you can scan each page and read it in English.

Thanks Aardvark, good idea. The only digital version I can find is Kindle, and I don't think that is exportable to Google for translation.

Merci.

It uses your phone camera, held over the text and translates it for you

Thanks JMAC, Great TV program and route reconstruction. I've just finished reading the book. I can see why it is not available in English.

Anyone who has done off track walking in Tas will sympathise with Sarah’s hardship.
