Note that at Cooks Beach they have moved the proposed standing camp about 250 m to the northeast from where it was previously located about 20 years ago. This would have been done so they can keep it within the FNP recreational zone (where it is potentially allowed under the management plan) and not be in the conservation zone (where it is not allowed).
I wonder whether they will remove EVERYTHING and FULLY rehabilate the sites each winter? If not, the development cannot be considered to be "temporary" and therefore will be "permanent" and not allowed. This will require more than just pulling down the tents and removing the platforms, but also re-vegetating the areas that had been covered by the developments. This re-vegetation will need to be done with species grown from locally occurring species (ie from Cooks beach and Bluestone Bay). It will not be adequate to just throw down some matting and say it is rehabilated.

Does anyone know where these tents will be sited? It's claimed that the historical lease is well away from where other walkers would camp. There's no cadastral lease that I can identify on The list to help identify it.

Location information/coordinates/site maps/designs/etc are all in the DA.

This is also useful in understanding the situation, including zoning
