Emergency Alert Feeds

Postby tastrax » Mon 30 Jan, 2023 3:29 pm

Hi Folks,

I know there are a few nerds in this forum who follow emergency alerts etc. Many of the live feeds that used to be available from TFS have died and no one seems that interested in fixing them.

I have been trying to access to such feeds and got the following from the TasAlerts folks but none of them are publicly on the internet as yet...Our feeds aren’t publicly available due to the fact that we have had no general community members requesting them. We will progress making them available and let you know when this is done. . If you dont ask then you dont get anything!

IN the meantime see what you think of these

TasALERT Feeds
• CAP-AU PROD feed:
https://alert.tas.gov.au/data/cap-au.xml
• RSS Incidents and Warnings - contains all incident (ESCAD, BoM when the connected) and warnings (Advice, Watch and Act and Emergency Warning)
https://alert.tas.gov.au/data/incidents-and-alerts.xml
• RSS Warnings Only - to contain only AWS warnings (Advice, Watch and Act and Emergency Warning)
https://alert.tas.gov.au/data/alerts-only.xml
• KML PROD feed:
https://alert.tas.gov.au/data/incidents ... ssages.kml

TFS Feeds
• Community Protection Plans
https://www.fire.tas.gov.au/Show?pageId=cppKml
• Permits/Registered Burns
https://www.fire.tas.gov.au/Show?pageId=permKml
Cheers - Phil
