Zion Vale track

Postby Hikrazy » Wed 08 Dec, 2021 11:11 am

Hi,

Has anyone done the Zion Vale track that branches off from the track at the bottom of the mt Jerusalem track and follows the fish river back to trappers hut.
Wondering if the track is still there, and if not is the going easy?

Thanks

Golden Gate. It's a pad, not a track, and it's easy enough to follow with the possible exception of the river crossing (although that has become more obvious recently) and some vagueness around the eastern side of Gate of the Chain.
It's my preferred route into the central Walls from the Mersey/Rowallan area. Just try to keep off the cushion plants.
