Apart from being closed, their condition is pretty good. Was there just before Christmas. Stayed the night in the hut at Meston as we arrived late in the day and there was already a group camping around the hut, so there wasn't much tent space left. The forecast was for a fair bit of rain starting overnight, so two of us just slept in the hut. Very cosy and dry. The bunks are surprisingly comfortable and no sign of any wildlife. Junction isn't in as good a nick, which much more animal activity. Just pitched the tent there, but cooked inside as it was still raining.
