Thanks for that. Hadn't seen that article, but it covers pretty much everything I'd heard on the radio. I would have thought it merit its own article, given the severity of both the consequence on peat fire, fires in the TWWHA, and the current fire issues in Tassie.
Re: my mates in the Arthurs, I got in touch with one of them and found out they got heli evaced at 9pm yesterday.
