The new group platform at Windemere is already completed,
This makes me the first man to climb Mount Everest backwards, without oxygen...or even a jumper.

Ok, moving it made sense.

I linked the site plan earlier. It's not exactly new news.

I don't like the fact that they seem to be planning to replace my favourite tent platform (number 4 on the plan) with a new group platform.
This makes me the first man to climb Mount Everest backwards, without oxygen...or even a jumper.

Looks like it's the eventual plan, to move the group site. Really just guessing how firm that plan is. A local employee was competent enough to share these site plans (and seek feedback) in the past but this time it's left with the managers. So.. (while hard to believe) of course the commercial stakeholder they consulted is Tasmanian Walking Company, not a group that actually uses the site.
