Launceston to Cradle Mountain transport help

Postby rob3rt09 » Tue 13 Nov, 2012 3:41 pm

This seems to be a regular stuff up for the overland track..

I didn't read my confirmation email properly for tassie link and it turns out they don't run a service to Cradle Mountain on a Saturday when I'm going.

So can anyone help with transport 23/24/25 of November (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)? I would cover fuel costs and then some!

Otherwise its a $250 cab which is not the end of the world in the long run :)

Thank you

Check out these guys I've used them before, he's also a walking guide but does transport for independent hikers to the Cradle Mountain area etc. Their rates vary depending on how many are in the mini-bus, but I paid about 80-100 when there were a few other walkers.

The lady, Helen, who I'm trying to organise transport with has trouble with English (in her emails anyway). So be patient if you talk to her :)
