overland + walls of jerusalem

Is there a way to combine the two as we are used to hiking 60 km/day? Having difficulty due to a lack of clear maps online. Driving up from Hobart on 17th Nov (parking either at Cradle or Lake St Clair) and hoping to start early on 18th if transport available. Have to catch a flight on 22 early AM from Hobart.

issues that I am working through-
1) do we cut off early on overland to do WOJ if so where and how much could we see in a day. I am happy to pay the necessary fees but if we cut off early are we not supposed to pay?
2) What is the best way to organize transport as that seem like it will be one full days on either side if we use buses. Is it best to park at Lake St Clair and take a bus to the start. Its been mostly miss talking to companies that could get us to the start quickly. Leaves only 3 walking days.

Thanks for sharing an knowledge on this.

You can do a circuit through the WOJ starting at New Pelion Hut (on the overland) via Lees Paddocks and then back onto the Overland at Hartnett Falls via the Never Never.
I reckon it might be about 60k from New Pelion Hut to Hartnett Falls by this route. The WOJ doesn't have the same quality of track as the Overland. I'm not too clear on how many days you actually have but you might enjoy doing some of the side trips on the Overland like Barn Bluff, Mt Ossa, Mt Oakleigh, Pine Valley and all it's side trips rather than blasting through the whole lot as quickly as possible.

A good guide would be the Chapman book "Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair and Walls of Jerusalem National Parks".It pretty much covers the routes you might choose to take.

Personally I would skip the WOJ all together and enjoy some of the Overland side trips instead.
