yeah? might be because so many more aussie trampers are inundating nz tracks. when i did the routeburn this year the vast majority of people in the huts were aussies. normally it's europeans, but the aussies beat them to the bookings this year, plenty more of them when i was on the kepler and queen charlotte walks,...
