I'm thinking about doinf the Oveland Track in the september holidays I'm jst wondering if anyone knows if there will be much snow???

It's almost impossible to predict. There can be snow at any time of year, but yes it is probable that snow will fall in September. Even if the forecast says no snow, be prepared for any kind of weather. It can be beautiful one minute, then nasty the next.

September is notoriously changeable. And usually windy. You need to be prepared for rough weather at any time of year and should expect it in September.

hey hey. i did it in mid sept a few years ago, wasn't much snow about, but as someone else has mentioned, it was INCREDIBLY windy for some of the time. but like people have said, there's no guarantee that its going to be the same as the past, or in fact, the same as the weather prediction!
