Lake St. Clare to Cradle Mountain March 7th, 2013?

Tue 19 Feb, 2013 11:00 am

Hi guys,

Can anyone give me any advice on lifts to Cradle Moutnain to Lake St. Clare?
We plan to leave the car at Lake St. Clare and get a lift to Cradle Mountain, although public transport is a bit useless requiring overnighting in Devenport or Queenstown which is'nt in our plans.
Does anyone know a decent <$150 pp company that does this, alternatively is there a group out there willing to share a company bus?
We plan to travel up from Hobart on March 7th so any help would be great cheers.

Thanks
:)

It looks like this mob http://www.adventureseekers.com.au/bushwalker-transport.html can do it. And possibly http://www.tigerwilderness.com.au/bushowg/, although not presently on the dates you're after.

Try sending a specific query here http://www.tigerwilderness.com.au/bush/, here http://www.mcdermotts.com.au/contact.aspx or here http://www.outdoortasmania.com.au/transportform.html to see what any of these companies can do.

All the best,

Peter

You could try mcdermotts.

I've found them to be absolutely excellent. I'm not affiliated in any way.

Thanks guys,

Our total cost could be reduced from $400 to $200 if 2 more hikers fancy joining the bus were looking into?

Cheers.
