Well done eggs.
Nice shot. Hopefully the water will continue to flow for some time...

Thanks photohiker
I thought all the shots this month were of an excellent standard - good colour, composition and clarity with great subjects - particularly the bird and lizard shots.
As for the falls - this area has a very small collection area - and the flow has very quickly reduced to a trickle. So this photo is a very rare sight.
By the time summer is in full swing it will probably be bone dry - but SA is the driest state in the driest continent in the world... [excluding the "mainland" to the south that is .. ie Tas]

Well done eggs
that's a serious amount of water coming over there

Nicely done Eggs! It was certainly another hard month to pick just one to vote for.

Congrats.
About time you won one, you've come very close on a number of occasions.

Mmm, now that the bar has been raised! Congratulations, it's hard not to love waterfalls in full flood.
I chucked in the bird because they don't seem to get much air time, so to speak, in this area.
I actually voted for the last one because I thought it had a bit of imagination.
Cheers all

Nice and varied collection, I was torn between the winner, the bird and nnw's beautiful pic - gave it to eggs in the end - don't ask me why, I can't even pick which of my own pics to enter....

Thanks.
I just wish I'd been able to get the angle I really wanted on it, but it would have involved lying down in some incredibly cold water.

Nice work everyone. I like the waterfall eggs, great thinking to get it in full flow.

Thanks
This was shot on a wet day without a tripod - so a bit difficult.
I actually put up a photo of the same fall from below - 2nd entry in the May Australia comp - with a "good" flow in it.
Quite a contrast.

THanks eggs,
Appreciate the comment.
I thought that the vote was between yours and the Heysen trail shot. Both excellent work. I'm a sucker for a good landscape shot.
Cheers,
eddie
