Im thinking of purchasing either a yellowbrick or an inreach Se. The inreach Se seems more user friendly and has a dedicated emergency response service but the lock in 12 months cost puts me off. Has anyone else weighed up the advantages and disadvantages of yellowbrick compared to inreach Se. I'm not so interested in the tracking breadcrumbs facility but rather the two way message capabilities.

Yep, it's a pity Yellowbrick hasn't done some kind of deal with GEOS. I don't know if a private individual can hook in themselves.
Yellowbrick eats InReach on long term costs, so not an easy decision.
