TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Just saw an awesome deal for a hilleberg Rajd for less than half price and thinking hard about it...

Has anyone had any experience with this shelter? I remember someone here saying they had one and recommended it, but cant recall..
Looks like a 2 man tarptent to me, but in my preferred green colour

Listed weight: 1 kg with 10 pegs and all guy lines (tho reviews range from 950g-1100g)
sets up with 2 trek poles and 10 pegs
Just wondering if the floor is the same 100 Denier stuff used in all hillebergs or the 1200 kerlon the body uses

Spent the night in one on top of Speculation late last year.

Floor is same as body, IIRC. VERY roomy. Quite a bit of condensation, but it's a single skin so hey. Like all hillebergs, VERY well made. And it looks great, really nice shape. Classic retro vibe.

Vents are up the top... Would probably prefer something down at head level too, for summer use.

At half price, def worth a look.

Thanks John.. as i suspected with its minimal vents.
seems light and well made, but I think I'll give it a miss.
