what after market insoles if any do you use?

I"ve tried a few.
either too soft , too hard, too heavy, too thick, too unsupportive
i'm stil looking for the goldilocks ones
sofsol allsport are what i'm trying next, these are thinner than normal. a dense eurethane material. i don't like most insoes, find them too thick
superfeet were the last ones i tried, thought they were a bit on the hard side but supportive
tried formthotics, thought they were too hard as well.
tried gel ones, too heavy

I use orthaheel shock inners on my runners and my hiking shoes/boots (unless the stock inner is good). I simply rip out the stock inner soles in the runners (asics always glue them in grr) and thankfully most hiking boots they can simply be taken out, and replace. I find them great. Not too hard, not too soft.

I just use the cheap Latex ones, they seem fine for work for which I use them, they give me that extra bounce for at least a week or two, for camping I would probably TAKE 2 pairs and change them half way though my trip.


Also if you use them with new socks it's double nice

Maybe I am too easy to please

Yep, they're great, although they do wear out fairly quickly.
