TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

OLD macpac bag, plastic interior frame has bent

Hi, brainsttrust my old trusty macpac bag has now got some issues. the interior plastic frame sheet (inaccessible, as sewn in) has bent. it makes heavy loaded school book commutes very tough.

Can one bend this back? or are there any method people could think of?

Hmm It will depend but assuming it's a sheet of PE then heat and time may do it.
Find a slab of something stiff, put something inside it to keep it flat [ say a sheet of plywood wrapped in a blanket] put the rucksack inside a black plastic bag, put a second clear plastic bag over the top.
Put the whole caboodle outside in the sun and allow to warm up and then put a big concrete paver on it and leave until the next morning.
Might work / also it may not but the cost will be minimal so worth trying
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart

The bag looks like it could do with a wash. Try some hot water ... and soap. Once finish with the hot water ... form it to shape and then let it cool.. might work, at least it will be cleaner. If it does not want to be formed .. get it hotter with a hair dryer.
