TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

What is a good cleaner to clean mould or mould stains from gore-tex shell wear?

According to this document :

http://cool.conservation-us.org/coolaic ... 11-33.html
Gore Tex is resistant to Hydrogen peroxide.
This from a tent maintenance site :

"To remove mould or mildew, make a 5% solution of hydrogen peroxide. (125ml in 5 litres of water.) Sponge the solution on and, when the mould is gone, rinse off and wash the tent as below. "

So you may want to patch test that to see if it works.

First thing I would wash it according to the instructions here :.

Thanks Franco, yes the washing has all been done in accordance with GoreTex Instructions allready but the stain remains. A rolled up hood left in a drying room each night for 2 & 1/2 weeks.

I'll check out the hydrogen peroxide solution.
