Fly camp a lot but seasons are warming/changing and have problems with sandflys and mossies.
When you didn't have a issue autumn spring.
Can anybody tell me of their experience of using one.
Thanks

Should clarify here in NZ fly camping is using a tarp looking at getting a bug net inner for use under fly/tarp.

I have their Escapist tarp 3x3m.
Haven't used the matching bug tent.
With only a 15D floor using a ground sheet would be smart and there is a matching one. End entry door is probably OK given the shape of the inner. For $300 I didn't go for it and use a tent in bad bug and tick country.
I have used a cap and head net when under a tarp, still needed repellent and the hands get eaten!
I have the cheaper 360 degrees mosquito net. I rigged a piece of cord to tie it back to the pole in tarp/fly A frame setup, as the high point is not at one end. Best to add guyline and elastic cord to spread it out. It has corner loops to do that.
Not fine enough for sandflies, maybe the STS nano ones are.

Thanks for the comment.
Use a Exped Mira tent which is good.
Used to spend up to a week under a 4x3m tarp years ago but didn't have the insect issue then.
Interested in your mosquito net.
Might have to explore that option.

I've never used one but the TerraRosa bug tent looks OK for use with a big tarp
