:shock: Gee, looks like youve had yer feet in rabbit traps, do you drag them along behind you? :D I'd be taking them back, they look a bit 'soft' (to me)lol

Hi Brett,
I can sympathise, but it's not only in Tassie bush :). Here is one of my new pair of Treks about halfway through a walk of a similar distance in the Blue Mountains, after maybe 2kms off track in relatively easy but rocky terrain. They looked far worse by the end (but not quite as bad as yours :shock:). I've since worked them over with tan boot polish and Snoseal and they look like show ponies again. Yet to get around to continue breaking them in though.

I make a toe cap with freesole , keeps the leather in good condition for abit longer.
